In 1993, Gail Lewis, Director of Gail’s Graphic Designs, began volunteering her expertise to neighbors who requested assistance with their resumes and presentation projects. Out of this experience, Gail’s Graphic Designs was born. "I created Gail’s Graphic Designs because I saw a gap, a need in the market that wasn't being filled," said Ms. Lewis. Today, both local and international clients seek Ms. Lewis for marketing and communications solutions.
Most recently, Ms. Lewis designed a few issues of a national magazine called “Spotlight on Recovery.” The self help magazine, published monthly by Robin Graham (www.spotlightonrecovery.com), features themed issues that aim to help communities manage challenging areas, such as drunk driving and children at risk. Gail’s Graphic Design provided R. Graham Publishing Company a great service. Ms. Graham said, “Their professionalism, creativity and focus on meeting customer expectations made me a very happy client. With the help of Ms. Lewis and her team, they have taken my product to a new level.” Ms. Lewis was previously the Corporate Communications and Marketing Project Manager at CB Richard Ellis (CBRE). CBRE is the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm. With approximately 21,000 employees, the Company serves real estate owners, investors and occupiers worldwide. Throughout her 10-year tenure at CBRE, Ms. Lewis held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility and enjoyed a reputation as the “turnaround expert”. Her responsibilities included web editor and manager for the Tri-State region web pages, transaction and milestone advertising and business proposals. She was also involved with other communications activities including public relations and event management. Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Lewis was a Publisher's Assistant at Gruner + Jahr Publishers—YM Magazine. Ms. Lewis graduated from Bernard M. Baruch CUNY with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Operations Management.
